Day 1 – Meeting in Arles

Morning* according to your timing, arrival in Arles. Enjoy the atmosphere of the city and stroll around its Unesco listed monuments, the Arena and the Ancient Theater… as well as on the traces of Van Gogh’s passage (Langlois Bridge)!

Free lunch in the heart of the city.

Afternoon** Appointment for a first approach of the world of the Camargue at the Camargue Museum, where you will make a first immersion within the Natural Park of the Camargue with information & permanent exhibition… without forgetting to take the Path at the beginning of the site (option)! Then, installation in your accommodation.

Preparation for a Camargue evening ! (depending on your departure date and calendar – usually the evenings are on Thursdays or Fridays).

Dinner proposed in a charming Manade & Overnight stay in Stes Maries de la Mer or surroundings.

Day 2 – Arles / Camargue

Morning** Explore the Camargue and its marshes with a horseback ride, ideal to appreciate the beauty of the landscapes ….

Free lunch at your hotel or in the area.

Afternoon** Another discovery ride on the banks of the Vaccarès pond.

You will go to the heart of a Manade to enjoy an escape in the middle of nature at the rhythm of a jeep-Safari, which will allow you to better apprehend the Camargue nature, its fauna, its flora and its traditions! Return to your accommodation & free dinner at the Hotel or nearby & overnight stay in Stes Maries de la Mer or surroundings.

Day 3 – Arles

Morning Last walk to Aigues Mortes, its ramparts and its city center, to soak up the local culture. Stroll along the Chemin de Ronde with a view of the salt marshes… and taste the famous sweet Fougasse!

Free lunch at the hotel or in a nearby restaurant.

Afternoon Last free excursion in the heart of the Camargue and its Park. Possibility of optional activities of discovery (small cruise, segway or electric mountain bike, beach…)

* Possible option for an exclusive guided tour in Arles. But also to replace ap. noon by a visit of the Domaine des Méjanes, a complete place of discovery of the Camargue.
