Day 1 – Meeting in Beaujolais
Morning Arrival in Beaujolais, northwest of Lyon
From the south of the region, the “Pierres Dorées” welcome you to deliver a feast of colors and panorama punctuated by golden stone villages, vineyards and charming estates…
Oingt will be your first step of visit in pedestrian mode of this most beautiful village of France (PBVF). After your visit, you will go through the hills covered with vineyards to reach a new village, Vaux en Beaujolais and its famous Clochemerle novel. Discovery of the village, and wine tasting at the communal cellar.
Free lunch on the spot or in the surroundings (picnic mode possible)
Continuation towards the North, and stop in a wine house for a pleasure tasting.
At the end, a last stop at the top of the Mont Brouilly will offer you a new panoramic view of the valley.
Arrival at your 3* hotel at the end of the day for your installation.
Dinner at the restaurant of your hotel & overnight stay in Beaujolais.
Day 2 – North Beaujolais
Morning Relax before leaving to discover the Beaujolais Crus, further north.
We propose to join a new domain, on the heights of Fleurie and its hill. Stop at the top for a panoramic tasting, before going to the Auberge de la Madone, located nearby, for your lunch.
Afternoon* Passage through the famous Moulin à Vent appellation, and its classified mill, for an ideal photo spot!
End your walk with a last tasting stop at Georges Duboeuf’s Hameau du Vin, a place not to be missed to discover the wine making process in a playful way, for children and adults!
End of the afternoon (17H/18H) Return
